We celebrated Keely's first birthday this past weekend with a great barbeque and lots of friends!! It was a beautiful weekend and the deck looked great after Eric powerwashed it (we have to wait till it's hot to restain it) and added a step all the way around with considerable help from Ron, ElRae, Steve, & Kathryn (thanks for the great Mother's Day gift/project!). It was a beautiful weekend, the first sunshine and 70+ degree temps!!
We had a family dinner Saturday (her actual birthday) and she enjoyed digging in to her pumpkin apple spice cake. Mostly she liked playing with the fresh whipped cream on top, but once I showed her how to tear off a piece of cake she loved it! 
Sunday folks came over for a yummy barbeque. It was so much fun to have so many friends and kiddos over and enjoy the sunshine and yard. Keely enjoyed a reprise of her cake and my ladybug cupcakes turned out pretty cute. She didn't quite get into opening presents, but there was one that will be coming in November...a new sibling! We'd hoped to tell everyone in person, but given that it was spreading in cyperworld, I wanted to get a post out! But shh..our workplaces still don't know, so publicly it's a bit on the downlow...

Congratulations! I hope that you are feeling well. I know that morning sickness is rough in general, but must be super duper rough while taking care of a 1 year old and working. Blessings!!
